Sales Associate

The Sales Associate is responsible for prospecting targeted accounts and assessing sales prospects for Apogee Search. We want a creative, organized executor to educate marketing decision makers and buyers about Apogee Search's services. You will develop and evaluate sales opportunities from assigned prospect lists and inbound leads. This is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to break into the rewarding and high-paced world of sales.

Duties may include any of the following:

• Telephoning and/or emailing specific named contacts at target companies and organizations
• Evaluation and grading inbound sales leads
• Meeting or exceeding predefined new account acquisition and profitability goals

Qualifications:

No previous sales experience required. Just desire.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: strong knowledge of the Internet and World Wide Web, familiarity with online advertising methodologies, especially paid and natural search marketing and both the ability and the willingness to educate others about search engine marketing.

Specific qualifications include:

• College education (BA in Business, Communications, Liberal Arts, Plan II or other honors preferred)
• Experience using Salesforce.com a plus
• Familiarity with search engine marketing, website analytics, and tracking systems desired
• A passion to learn
• Excellent phone and written communications skills
• Professional attitude and demeanor
