Apogee Search, the fastest growing online marketing agency in the Southwest, is seeking a talented Marketing / Public Relations intern to assist in our growth, as well as that of our clients. The student who is chosen will gain the experience of working with a rapidly growing firm in the hottest area of marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Aid in the development of marketing and PR campaigns
• Assist in tradeshow planning
• Draft marketing and PR materials, including press releases, byline articles, blog management, email marketing, etc.
• Drive efforts for Apogee Search PR outreach
• Participate in social media networking for the company
• Participate in internal and client meetings as needed

We are looking for commitments of ten to twenty hours per week. Schedules are variable depending upon class requirements.

Our internships are designed to be a growth position for your career in marketing, and hopefully within our company. We have made permanent offers to several former interns. Unlike many agency internships, you will be learning online marketing in a hands-on environment, not fetching coffee, making copies, or picking up someone's laundry.

Qualifications:

• Background in Communications, Marketing, or related studies
• Interest in Internet marketing
• Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Viciously detail oriented
• College junior or senior
• Available 10 to 20 hours a week, with a 3 month commitment
• Energetic, well-rounded applicant willing to tackle a number of different tasks
