Apogee Search, the fastest growing search engine marketing agency in the Southwest, has immediate openings for a Client Services Management Intern for the summer.

Our services include paid search advertising management (PPC), natural search optimization (SEO), web and site consulting. We have a laid back, hands-on, upbeat environment, and we need people that are ready to learn and get things done.

Our internships last for 2 months, after which a paid, part time position is considered. These internships are not about getting coffee or making photocopies. These internships will immerse you in an online advertising consultancy and teach you a variety of basic professional skills. Many of our interns have gone on to become full time employees with Apogee Search.

Characteristics we look for: self-motivated, curious, quick learner, unafraid to ask questions.

The Client Services Management Intern is responsible for assisting with Apogee Search's service offerings in any of the following:

• Publish regular reports on company status based on data pulled from multiple systems
• Analyze data for client, practice group, service offering and industry trends
• Define and/or document new and existing processes
• Manage traffic flow

What will this internship teach you?

• How a professional services firm, e.g. consulting firms, advertising agencies, PR agencies, work
• How to be successful in a start-up company
• Quantitative and qualitative data analysis

During the academic year or for interns taking classes over the summer, we seek a commitment of 10 to 20 hours per week. Full time internships are also an option during the summer. Schedules are variable depending upon course, employment, and travel requirements. Interns that excel will have the option to continue into the fall.

After an initial 2 month period, interns that excel will be offered the option a paid internship. We have made permanent offers to several former interns. Unlike many agency internships, you're be learning online marketing in a hand-on environment, not fetching coffee, making copies, or picking up someone's dry cleaning.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of college education
• Excited about learning
• Detail oriented
• Good "business mathematics" (algebra level math) skills
• Interest in or knowledge of quantitative data analysis
• Interest in or knowledge of qualitative data analysis
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel a plus, but not required
• Professional attitude and demeanor
• HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and/or PHP knowledge a plus, but not required
• Desire to be on part of a team that sets the bar for excellence in its industry
