Google: No CIA Connection

Responding for reports that Google has been working with the CIA, an official Google spokesperson says, “Nope, no way, no how.”
IMHO, the odds that Google has been in cahoots with the U.S. Intelligence Community are very small. It just doesn’t fit with the culture, and I think any attempts by Google managment to make such a thing happen would be rejected by the troops. If it were pushed through over the objections of the troops, some former employee would be on the record revealing the connection.
The fact that the original story has virtually no attribution suggests to me that someone made it up.
