Google Checkout Predatory says ZDNet

Donna Bogatin clearly isn’t a fan of Google Checkout. She does everything but call for the antitrust inquisition to begin immediately.
Frankly, the payments space could use a good shaking up. And Google Checkout looks like the way to do it!

Bill reports that beta orders using GoogleBase and GoogleWallet show Google as the merchant of record. This is a substantial development with real legal implications. It suggests that Google plans to make a major play in the e-commerce space.
